Experience Local Food & Community - Open Day Nov 2025
September Newsletter
On Saturday 1st November, we’ll be opening the gates for a full day of kai, kōrero, connection and community - complete with hands-on farm demos, kids activities, live music, tours of the market garden, market stalls from local producers, and some of the tastiest kai sourced directly from the gardens & pastures next door.
Whether it’s your first visit or you’re part of the furniture, Open Day is about celebrating the season, our local food system, and the people who make it thrive.
Come meet the team, see the land, and be part of the movement growing here in Mangaroa. Entry is free, with the option for $20 guided garden tour tickets are available online. Bring your whānau, your gumboots, and a hearty appetite.
Check out our awesome promotional video from our last event in March here.
Please enjoy this month's updates from our local ecosystem below.
Ngā mihi aroha,
The team at Mangaroa Farms
Interested in Volunteering?
We’re on the lookout for volunteers to help bring the magic to life on the day. If you’re keen to lend a hand with setup, pack down, guiding guests, or serving kai, we’d love to hear from you.
Latest Updates
- In the Market Garden, a sign of summer approaching is Tomato seedlings being on the heat mats, now growing to be ready for transplanting inside the greenhouse soon.
