Planting on a new flat planting near the Mangaroa River, part of the ongoing biodiversity and riparian restoration at Mangaroa. You will be part of a supportive group of volunteers helping put upto 2000 plants in the ground and set this site on its restoration journey - supporting our water quality and bird life.
You can work at your own pace - your contribution and involvement is a fantastic part of the future of Mangaroa Farms
There is a short flat walk of around 5-10 minutes from where you will leave your vehicle to the planting site.
Meet at 298 Whitemans Valley Road at 10am on Saturday 16th August
Need to bring:
A Jacket and warm clothes - be prepared for a range of weather
Boots or stout shoes
Gloves - if you have them and want to wear them
A spade if you have one
Water bottle
