General

To respect the land, wildlife, and fellow guests, we ask that you:
Leave no trace – take all rubbish and recycling to designated bins.
Respect the farm – this is a working farm with animals and crops; please do not enter paddocks or gardens unless guided.
Keep it peaceful – no loud music or disruptive behavior, particularly after 10:00 PM. Please, no parties.
No smoking or vaping inside the lodge or near buildings. If smoking outside, dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.
No pets – due to farm biosecurity and local wildlife, we cannot allow pets.

Respect wildlife: Mangaroa Farms is home to diverse wildlife, and we ask that you observe them from a distance and avoid disturbing their natural habitats.
Sustainable practices: We promote sustainable living practices, including conserving water, reducing energy consumption, and using eco-friendly products. We appreciate your efforts in joining us on this journey to live harmoniously with the land.
Trails & Gates: We ask that you please keep to any marked paths and trails around the valley to protect our natural environments and leave all farm gates as you found them — if the gate was open, leave it open, and if closed, leave it closed.

Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and must be arranged in advance.

Farm Hazards – Uneven terrain, electric fences, and waterways exist on the property. Please take care and supervise children at all times.
Fire Safety – Open fires are not permitted outside of designated fire pits. Fire bans may apply in dry seasons.
Emergency Procedures – In case of fire, medical emergency, or severe weather, follow the emergency instructions provided in the lodge.

The lodge kitchen is stocked with basic essentials. You are welcome to use it, but please clean up after yourself.
Our farm shop (Kete Kai) has fresh produce available – subject to seasonal availability.

Your booking is confirmed upon full payment unless otherwise arranged.
We accept bank transfers and online payments. Cash payments can be arranged in advance.
Prices are in NZD and include GST where applicable.

• Full refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in.
50% refund for cancellations made 3–6 days before check-in.
No refund for cancellations within 48 hours of check-in.
In exceptional circumstances (e.g., severe weather, illness), we may offer rescheduling at our discretion.

Guests stay at Woodcote Lodge at their own risk. Mangaroa Farms and its owners are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property.
Please report any damage or issues promptly. Guests may be responsible for any significant damage caused during their stay.

Payments are processed through Stripe. Credit card information is not stored by us. Please contact us firectly if you have questions about this at events@mangaroa.org

Woodcote Lodge is part of a living, breathing farm and community dedicated to regeneration and resilience. We ask that all guests respect the whenua, the kaupapa, and the people who help care for this place. Many of our team live on the same street so please consider others in your actions.
