To celebrate the abundance of Spring join Tamsin of Urth Apothecary for a seasonal foraging & medicine making experience.
Spring is a powerful time to take notice of the seasonal shifts happening all around us. The leaves are sprouting from their slumber, and the flowers are blossoming. Abundant wild & resilient medicinal weeds are all around us! These are the untamed medicines of the Earth.
The day will begin with a wild-foraged tea ceremony, highlighting the intentions of the workshop, and outlining ethical harvesting practices.
We will then go on a foraging walk around the regenerating lands of Mangaroa farms, to learn about the seasonal plants growing all around us that we can use for food and medicine. There is an option to harvest some as we walk to create a makeshift herbarium to remember your new plant allies (bring your journal if you'd like to do so!).
We will then gather to co-create a medicinal wild weed spring tonic to take home, inclusive of a grazing board of light snacks infused with wild herbs.
Please bring a journal & pen, scissors, and a basket if you have one. These events are run seasonally.
