Wild Garden Wander – A Family Nature Session
Come to Mangaroa Farms and explore our wild growing spaces — including the permaculture orchard and multispecies pasture.
We spend a lot of our time in places that aren’t wild, so this session is an invitation for families to step outside that, spend time together, alongside other families, and simply be on the land.
Through a mix of play and hands-on learning, we’ll dig for worms, identify plants, play games, and have space to move, explore, and run around in a real, working permaculture landscape.
🌱 What to expect:
Exploring the permaculture orchard and polyculture paddock
Digging into the soil and finding worms
Simple plant identification
Games, movement, and open-ended exploration
👨👩👧👦 Who it’s for:
Families and children of all ages — come as you are.
📍 Where: Mangaroa Farms – orchard & paddock
🕓 When: Friday 27th, 4:00–5:00pm
💚 Cost: Low-cost / koha-style to keep it accessible
