This mainstay leafy green shouldn't need an introduction. You probably have it growing in your vegetable garden as we speak! However we love to promote how versatile this green is - and the fact that you can even eat the stalk!
Simply remove the leaf blade from the stalk, thinly slice & fry with a little olive oil. Roughly chop the leaves and add to boiling salted water for 3 mins. Drain in a colander, and drizzle with lemon juice to serve. Voila!

Resilience & Regeneration
Our veges are grown locally on our farm with no harmful sprays/chemicals inside our greenhouse, or outside in one of our classic 25m long garden beds. Happy herds of sheep, cows, and chickens are grazed in the pastures nearby, working as part of a regenerative system that nourishes the underground soil microbes, and giving back to Papatūānuku.
