Winter would not be the same if it weren't for this nutritional powerhouse.

While 90% water, broccoli is full of vitamins, minerals, fibre and antioxidants. It is especially high in vitamin C, vitamin K, iron, and potassium. 

Broccoli also provide sulphur-containing compounds that have incredible antioxidant potential however are responsible for the often bitter and pungent taste. 

We recommend gently steaming broccoli (over boiling) until they are bright green to ensure a tasty crunchy texture and to lock in all the essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
